La Stanza Senza Finestre | “Moon trees”

Some trees got together and talked about going the moon

they thought that one day they might go there to start a new world for nature

they thought that if they grew around the shape of the moon they might end up there

they thought to help the worlds people by growing shapes to make shelters

they thought that man might finally realise how important trees are

they got taken to moon and made a new world for them and their friends.

I have envisioned a world where trees grew to make shelters for man that did not have windows. The trees grew as ‘Moon Trees’ that imagined capturing the form of the Moon so that they would eventually be taken there to create a new world for them to live in harmony. It references the Apollo 14 mission where seeds were taken to the moon by astronauts and then replanted on earth. The message is how we can learn from the imagination of nature to make a better world for all.
